Guinness Pewter Tankard

Further addition to the collection. A rather nice pewter mug made by Wentworth from Sheffield, England, #909 of 2500 made.
I looked on the Wentworth website and the first hallmark, ARW is for Wentworth Pewter, second I think is the tin content, i.e. 92%, the third is some European mark, the fourth is for the Association of British Pewter Craftsmen (ABPC) formed in 1970 to promote high standards in manufacturing and to raise awareness of pewter's many merits such as that it is much more stable than silver and, unlike silver, can be used for salty substances. The fifth I have no idea.
Nevertheless still a nice modern addition to the collection I think.

Guinness Corporate Quarterly Magazines

I can't believe I came across these quarterly Guinness corporate news booklets. They are in great condition and nicely wrapped.  The info in them is tremendous and I am looking forward to reading them all in due course. I need to now source the ones I don't have.  This lot includes Autumn '64, Spring, Summer and Autumn '69, Summer, Autumn and Winter '70, Spring and Summer '71, all four '72, all of '73 and Summer '74.  Should anyone have or know someone who has some of these I would love to hear.

Guinness Bicentennial Envelopes

Just got these two lovely bicentennial envelopes c/w stamps.  One of them came with a nice high level biography about the man himself. Well pleased.

Guinness Flutes

After delaying these came up at the right price so I bought two sets, one for use ad one for display.
